Just got this awesome little cookbook and I love it! It has a wide range of recipes and most of them are easy to make. At the same time though, I'll be making some of these dishes to impress dinner guests.

The book has 8 main sections:
1. sauces, marinades, dips and dressings
2. appetizers, sides and vegetable dishes
3. soups and stews
4. sandwiches, wraps and breads
5. rice, noodles and pasta
6. beef, chicken and pork dishes
7. seafood
8. drinks and desserts (yes, even cocktails with gochujang!)

Even though gochujang is a Korean ingredient, the recipes are not all Korean food or even Asian/fusion. For example, "traditional" recipes like Soft Tofu Stew and Mixed-rice Bibimbap are balanced with many new ways to use gochujang. My favorites from this cookbook are: Grilled Eggplant, Creamy spicy Pasta, Smoky Spicy Babaganoush, Succulent Pork Ribs, and Pull-apart Bread for parties. There's even a gochujang version of (Buffalo) wings!

I also love the section with various dips and sauces. Many of these are easy to whip up and keep in the fridge to serve with a plate of crudité, as salad dressing or as a spread for burgers and sandwiches.

One thing that is emphasized in the book is flexibility - the recipes can be adapted. They can be made less or more spicy according to your palate.

I haven't tried the cocktails and dessert recipes yet, but I plan to make the Spiced Peanut Cookies soon. Yum.

Think of almost any food you cook / eat and add Gochujang- marble cake included. I'd return it but it's too much bother as I live outside the US.

Ordered this book for my son for Christmas and gave it to him with a bottle of that sauce. We had purchased this sauce and served it at a poker party with other sauces to put on pizza. This sauce type was the biggest hit. My son liked his present.
