This is not easy to read simply due to subject matter but it gives the reader a look into what former abortion workers experienced, saw and did. I think it takes tremendous courage for them to come forward and share their stories. I am grateful.

A chance to read the words of people rarely heard...abortion workers who have voluntarily left that sad business. I know one of those voices personally. It makes for difficult reading but is important. Abortion damages everything it touches, physically and emotionally, in the near term or the far term. There is support for those who want to leave that "work".

I am a huge supporter of Abby Johnson, and enjoyed meeting her several years ago at a banquet where she spoke. Her first book, Unplanned, was excellent. I was really looking forward to this one, and she did include some very interesting and informative accounts of life working inside an abortion clinic. My only complaint (if you can call it that), is that this book felt to me as if it would have benefitted from being "beefed up" a bit. There were likely many more accounts that could have been added to it, had the author waited to develop it a bit more before publishing. I also wish that the stories had been left to "stand alone" a bit more, without all of the commentary surrounding them. The facts speak for themselves. All in all, the content that was included was strong. I simply feel that, had she hung on to this project for a while, she could have included some more testimonies for a more well-rounded, substantial inside look at the abortion industry.

No one knows the ins and outs of the abortion industry like those who have worked in it. This is not an easy read, but it is real and it is something that needs to be exposed. Brace yourself for a serious reality check and call to action.

I have already read this book, and I knew it was not going to be an easy read. Having many friends and acquaintances that have worked in the abortion industry, I know that many of the stories featured in The Walls Are Talking are unfortunately not uncommon. The Walls Are Talking is indeed a necessary read, and prayer is indeed the first necessary call to action. Thank you to the contributors who courageously shared their stories.

As others have noted, this wasn't an easy read. The subject of abortion is of course not an easy one, especially when seen up close and without a filter, as it is in this book. What was equally disturbing was how people who started out wanting to help others, and in many cases with no intention of having anything to do with the abortion industry, could be deceived into it, and then kept there through self-deception. For these workers, the truth proved more stubborn and powerful than the deception. Their stories will open many eyes, and perhaps give hope to others who also want out of the abortion industry's

It is critical for anyone working in the pro-life movement to understand the effect of our words on those working in the abortion industry. People will be won by love, not by anger and harsh words. This book contains an important message.

There are many people who believe that Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics do good work and help women in times of need. As is explained and illustrated in this book, that could not be farther from the truth. These abortion clinics harm and victimize women, and make them feel like they can't be successful without them, that their chance to succeed goes out the window once they have a child. It's akin to an abusive relationship, telling women "you're nothing without me" and "you need me to succeed."

I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to read this book and hear real stories from real workers-who else is better equipped to talk about what happens behind closed doors at abortion clinics? It's incredibly brave to come out and talk about this- abortion is such a hard and controversial issue- but it has to be done. Thank you for releasing this eye-opening read.
