Vimala Rodgers has taken the ancient idea that letters of an alphabet contain the energy of living spirits and brought it into the modern world. She has created a practical system, Integral Handwriting, for drawing letters in a specific and deliberate way in order to enhance the qualities that one wants to increase in his or her life.

After a brief introduction explaining her system and how to use it, Rodgers takes us through each letter of the English alphabet individually, giving us it's related soul quality, element, gender, gemstone, animal, and guardian protector (angel). She then tells us how to write the letter in a way that will enhance these attributes.

The book is part of a beautifully designed kit which also contains two CDs, a flash card for each letter of the alphabet, and a blank journal with unlined paper. ("Unlined paper extends an open invitation to release hidden dreams that are yours alone and allows you to become more of who you really are, playing life at the highest level.") The flash cards contain both the soul quality that Rodgers associates with the letter and an affirmation intended to increase that quality.

The author's vibrant personality comes through on every page. There is no excess of theory. We are given the basic facts and then told to start writing and see for ourselves what happens. Because of the visual appeal and unique content of this item, it will be a great present for people to buy for themselves, especially if the holiday season has them a little down in the dumps.

I discourage you from displaying it with books on graphology or handwriting analysis. You will risk diminishing the excitement this package has the potential to create as a stand-alone. Transform Your LIfe Through Handwriting is a spiritual graphology kit consisting of two audio CDs, a spiral bound guidebook, a spiral bound journal, and a deck of alphabet graphology cards. While all these go together very nicely, I was initially surprised to see the way this handwriting transformation kit was arranged, as apparently I'd been expecting a book and CDs, rather than a kit of so many things inside a box.

For those who have read graphology books and studied graphology to any extent, the principle behind transforming one's life through changing one's handwriting is fairly obvious, yet seldom fully explained. There seem to be many more examples and descriptions of what not to do in other books, so Vimala Rodgers' approach of focusing entirely on positive patterns is refreshingly different.

I like the sound of Vimala's voice on the audio tracks of the CDs, and once I'd adjusted to the initial shock of this entire kit being so very different than every other book on graphology I've seen, I started having fun with this program. Each letter is described in terms of its soul quality, its declaration of intent, its alphabetic family, its element, its gender, its gemstone, its animal and its angelic guardian protector. These qualities for each letter gave me a deeper appreciation for the meditations involved in writing each letter in upper and lower case -- and meditation is indeed the best way to describe what is involved. With only a modicum of advice on what not to do, I found myself fascinated by some of the reasoning behind the advice. We therefore learn to avoid writing a "secretary f," for example, that states, "I'll do your work well, but my ideas don't count."

I highly recommend this for anyone open-minded enough to try changing their handwriting, as there is a great deal to learn here, and this system really can work!

After having read the Your Handwriting Can Change Your Life! book, I decided to order this book and CD combination. Wow, I am so glad I did. Folks, this is not a handwriting improvement or a handwriting analysis program. This is a life transformation program! The CDs are awesome; Vimala gives so much information on each letter and her warm personality and in-depth knowledge just comes right through. The cards are very easy to carry or tuck into the notebook I use to practice my letters. I've been using the Vimala Alphabet every day for the last 60 days or so and I can say that amazing and wonderful things are happening almost every day.

This is a great kirk with a book, two CDs, a practice journal, and a deck of cards. The book goes into great detail about how handwriting affects daily life. The book and cards are easy to use reference materials. I have learned a lot about myself by analyzing my handwriting. I plan on modifying my handwriting to enhance my life. Even if it does not work, at least I will have neater handwriting. Would make a great gift for a writer or reader.
