I own probably two dozen coloring books for adults, and this has the thickest paper of all of them!! Each page is bright white, super smooth, and almost like a card stock! This yields beautiful results with colored pencils! Each page is perforated about 3/8" away from the binding, but the design is printed all the way into the binding.

These patterns are not intricate--but very large spaces. (See my photos) I don't think they lend themselves to fine-tip markers at all. You would use all your ink on one page. These designs would also be great for crayons due to the large spaces. They are perfect when you are in the mood for a page to color in one evening--nice and simple.

I love, love, love this coloring book. I'm a grown-up who LOVES coloring with watercolor paints. I love using watercolors but I'm not great at drawing so I purchase "grown up" coloring books, scan the pages I love, print them out on watercolor paper, and use my watercolors on them. I find it very soothing and relaxing.

The "Just Add Color" books are some of my new favorite new coloring books- each has about sixty pages, single-sided, with about thirty designs per book. They are all "hand drawn" rather than computer generated, so when you color them in, it looks like a piece of art rather than a colored-in image (if that makes any sense).

I particularly love this book because of the patterns- they are *really* cool. They are complex, but not intricate, and you can either do a series of repeating colors on a single design or go crazy and use every color you've got. The designs look great whether they are in one color or one hundred different colors.

Highly recommended!

I'm a big fan of most of the books in this series. This isn't my favorite, as the patterns are sometimes boring. But, the majority are interesting and a bit different from most other coloring books available. And, this series is of incredibly high quality. The images are printed on one side of some heavyweight well perforated paper. I've stopped buying coloring books as I probably have a lifetime supply. But I would buy a new one in this series, and I highly recommend all the existing ones.

Wonderful paper quality with great graphics. I like to color, and yes, I'm in my 40s. I don't care for juvenile designs though, so this book was an excellent find.

I love this coloring book, the patterns are fun to color! I also have the Mid-Century Modern animals. The pages are sturdy and rip out easily. My only problem is I like the patterns so much that I get silly and stress about which colors I should use!

this book is so much fun to color. wish there were more designs. i used prismacolor markers that bleed through, so i use a piece of cardboard to prevent the ink from bleeding onto the next page. Only the really dark colors do this. the paper stock is heavier than most paper that are used for these types of coloring books. i don't see me doing this, but i think it's helpful to have the pages perforated for easier removal. I am sure some people want to tear their work out to frame or to share with others.
