A very good friend was given this book after his mother died. He posted on Facebook thank you for the book and since my husband had recently passed away and I was having a very difficult time I figured if he liked it and felt good about it I should get it also.

My book arrived and every day things in life made me forget about the book until the other day, I was walking past the table I placed it on and I immediately felt I should pick it up. This was after a very hard period. After reading the book, I went back and re-read it, this time making notations. There were times I really felt I had written the book myself.

This very small book gives you insight into this journey which has been forced on you; you are not walking alone; others have walked this way before and others will in the future.

I only wish while caring for my husband I had known of the book, "May I walk you home" then. Just this book offers daily meditation and prayer, I am sure the other book would have helped greatly.

Thank you Joyce Hutchison for your beautiful writing and creating the sense that I was walking with you and others during this journey.
