This book was purchased for my grandson. He and his friends have read the entire Shark Wars series and thoroughly enjoy them. These books are also on their AR reading lists and give them good points for reading. Its not often you find something that's educational that the kids enjoy. Recommend it.

My kids are young (4 and 3) but even though there are not tons of pictures in the books, the stories keep their interest -- enough action and relatable scenes to keep fidgeting to a minimum. "Shark Week" is practically a holiday for us now because they watch the shark shows on TV and match up the species they see with the characters in the books. Look forward to the day they'll be able to read them on their own... maybe by book 7 or 8?

My question: how do we get these made into movies?!?!? There's like a thousand "Land Before Time" movies on Netflix that the kids have seen and they're so lame they drive me nuts. "Shark Wars" movies (or TV series) please!!!

It really blew my mind. Its sad in some parts but you'll get over it.I recommend this book to all ages 8 years and older.I also recommend books 1-4 in this series. This series is a bit violent so I recommend not to read this to children under the age of 5.

This book has a lot of adventure in it. Gray is Emperex of the Big Blue, and the prehistores want his throne. Join Gray and his friends along with their slim armada highly outnumbered as they battle the prehistores, for the safety of the entire big blue! If you had read the 4 books, now it is time to read this one.
