The collection of essays, articles and interviews are absorbing and enlightens the reader. The humanity, compassion and brilliance of Zinn can truly be understood by reading "The Indispensable Zinn". It would be unjust if mention is not made of Timothy P. McCarthy for editing this book and distilling the essence of Howard Zinn.
