This book is very useful to understand many tax strategies on short term and long term gains; easy to read. This covers many areas of tax deductions. It does not get into details of all the strategies. The way I look at it – once I read this book, I could speak more intelligently to my CPA, plan better for my future real estate investments, think about tax strategies even before buying a new property etc. This book will not enable a layman to do their own taxes; you still need a CPA but the reader will be better equipped with tax strategies. Overall great value for the price and I would recommend it!

I suppose the book goes over some basic ideas of tax and estate strategies as they relate to real estate. However, I was hoping for a more in depth take on the subject matter. Perhaps this book is good for those who are need a basic lesson on the topics, but anyone who has a basic understanding won't learn anything new here.

If you're getting into real estate investing and think you don't need to know tax strategies, then you're going to miss opportunities to make more money. This book is the different than most, maybe one in thirty. No positive motivation stories, just the facts. Thanks author.

I am by no means a tax expert, but I have certain knowledge regarding real estate transactions and tax implications. Overall what I have read thus far is useful. Although I wanted more focus on the short investment strategy rather than the 3-5 year hold strategy

The real estate market is in turmoil. In the past I may not have been as concerned with maximizing tax benefits, but I am now. And the "plumbing" style charts in the book, which show cash flows, made the advice in the book very practical and easy to follow. Well done.
