This is a special treat, as it is written by the students at U of L. Living outside the state, I don't get the chance to read the student newspaper, so this was really special. Congratulations, to the "writers of the future" at The Louisville Cardinal.

The introduction by legendary journalist, Billy Reed is tremendous, especially considering the fact that Billy Reed has always been a huge supporter of that other team in Kentucky...

I think this book has news stories written by Louisville journalism students, excerpted from the student newspaper. So the writing isn't written by professionals, and it does seem to have that feel of sub-par writing, though not necessarily bad or horrendous. I much better prefer the Sports Illustrated commemorative issue on Cards' championship, that SI publishes for all champs for every team sports every year. Though SI only distributes those locally to the team's region, but I got mine from eBay.

I bought this book for every member of the family. They love having the memories of last season. The photos are incredible.
There wasn't one person that didn't thoroughly enjoy the book. Highly recommend this one for your book shelf or coffee table.
