An exciting book chronicling the youth of writer Ada with recollections from her memories as a child growing up in Cuba. The benefit of this book comes in the clear, authentic picture it paints of growing up as a child in a latinamerican country. As a teacher, this book is invaluable in presenting reading concepts in biographies with authentic literature. I highly recommend it.
