I got this book to assist my autistic son with his reading comprehension. My son is severely behind and reading comprehension has been one thing he has not mastered. This book is perfect for not only 1st graders but any parents with special needs kids or struggling reading. I highly recommend this book. It takes you thru story sequencing, answering the who, what, when, where questions. The book is really a great value as I have looked around and any thing that is geared for special needs are struggling readers tends to be pricey.

Just right for kids learning English AND attending 1st grade. Text is interesting, questions are varied and in varied format. We got it more for the latter (ie. different ways of assessing comprehension) than for the text itself and book has surpassed our expectations. Stickers are a cute bonus.
