A Time To Clash is one of the best political books I have read. Most of the political books I have read in the past, have been so boring you just don't want to read them anymore. Not so, with Giles' book. It is an interesing, facted based book with a lot of laughs thrown in.

This is definitely a MUST read book!

pastor giles is a great american and a great christian! people who don't read the bible they don't realize how many times the baby jesus used words like "war", "kill", "guns" and "clash", but pastor giles is not afraid to lift the fog from their eyes and preach the true gospel of south texas! best of all, this book is in english, so immigrants can't read it, and it uses really simple words -- so i can read it! i would say this book should be in every motel night stand instead of the bible, because those of us who love the bible take it with us everywhere, and that way maybe some freedom hating know it all liberal will maybe read this book instead of watching sinful movies on the motel pay per view. thank you pastor doug and god bless!

This book is not for the faint hearted. But if you are tired of wimpy Christianity that will not take on the culture, then read this book. Giles has a very good writing style, and he will make you think. He may also "get in your face." Just his chapters on potential suitors for his daughters is worth the price of the book. Giles is not afraid to take on just about any subject.

Doug Giles is a firebrand. His unique blend of preaching and pot shots towards left-wing loonies and their insane ideology is a breath of fresh air in a country saturated in political correctness. Doug's new book wastes absolutely no time in getting to the bottom of some of the most contentious issues facing Americans today, and does so with a wit, zeal and candor that is sorely lacking from most of today's pundits. From Rosie O'Donnell to illegal immigration and everything else in between, Giles' tome is one of style and substance that no self-respecting citizen should miss.
