Godsent is not to be missed--an absolute page-turner! I so enjoyed reading it-I could not put it down! I have referred Godsent to many other people--all of whom also loved it! It is a perfect for book groups--it inspires lively and thoughtful discussions. Mr. Burton skillfully crafts an amazing story combining modern day culture with intense religious intrigue in a fast moving plot. Hurry up and write a sequel Mr. Burton--I can hardly wait! No wonder the Twilight producers snapped this book up for a movie--this book can only make for a fantastic blockbuster movie! 5 STARS PLUS!!!

Godsent by Richard Burton is fantastic and marvelous! Burton's concept is very interesting. This is an outstanding religious thriller with plenty of breath taking moments. This book is new to my normal reading pattern, in that it has more religious overtones. I wasn't a very religious person before I bought this book. But after reading this book without putting down it made me to believe in our religion. But I must say that this book is not limited to Catholic people. Every other people can read this book and do recommend them to read this amazing story. The ending to this book added another interesting part. It is going to be made into a movie too and I can't wait for it!!!!!!!!!

This is a fantastic book. I admit being biased towards the genre with Dan Brown and Robert Ludlum being two of my favorite authors. Godsent is an incredible fast paced thriller in the best of this tradition. I started reading this book on a Friday afternoon and could not put it down. It is one of those books that you simply must keep reading to find out what happens next. One of the reviews on the book jacket states that it is "Da Vinci Code on steroids". I think that is the best way to describe this book. Mr. Burton's writing is fast paced and filled with all of the important details - so much so that, like reading the Da Vinci Code, I started to wonder if Mr. Burton should fear for his own safety for revealing these secrets - its that real!

If you, like myself, love a fast paced conspiracy thriller, buy this book and make sure you have the next day free as you will want to read all of its over 400 pages straight through.

I can't wait for Mr. Burton's next book.

This book was AMAZING!! A total page turner. The story line was awesome! I could not put the book down and each page intrigued me more and more. The characters were well developed and I am definitely interested in more! Can't wait for the sequel, and the movie!

Godsent was a really good book to read. The way how its been written, its just push you, and basically you cant put it down until you get to the last page. I was really enjoy the story, and highly recommend for everyone. To be honest, i was surprised when i heard this is the first book of the author. The whole idea behind the book, God's second son come to our present life...Well its really well written and an amazing story. Great book!!!

Richard really kept my attention with this one. With so many terrible things allegedly going on in the Church, this is definitely something that opens your eyes to the sad truth. I couldnt stop reading this book. Richard is a brilliant writer and GodSent is an amazing read.
