The book is for people of all ages. The artist has captured Felix in different moods and playing different musical instruments . Some of us grew up with Felix cartoons.Don oriolo is Felix the Cat and the Art work is amazing. One of the paintings in this book I own and hangs next to my piano in my living room.You can not help but fall in love with this Felix.

absolutely love this book! the paintings are diverse and colorful and fun and very upbeat for the most part but you can find one for every mood. If you can't have the actual painting it's the next best thing!

5.0 out of 5 starsA WONDROUS BOOK THAT CAPTURES THE MAGIC AND WHIMSY OF THE WORLD'S FIRST CARTOON MEGA-STAR

Full disclosure: I had the opportunity to contribute to this book in a small way, however my role was limited and I cannot say enough good things concerning the bulk of the book, which of course is filled with wonderful paintings by Don Oriolo. Don is the son of Joe Oriolo, the legendary animator who brought Felix to new generations in the 1950s and `60s, Don has been the iconic cartoon star's caretaker since the 1980s. I had the honor of being one of the historians invited to provide an introduction for the book. The book is fabulously designed by Rod Ollerenshaw handsomely presented and published by Yoe Books and IDW, but the star here is the paintings. There's wondrous art to behold on each page, with Felix depicted in several different art styles, from expressionist to modernist and everything in-between. As Felix would say, "Righty-O!"
