I absolutely loved Bill and Angelo's story it was so good it had everything action drama and it funny moments from bill's team mate manny I cannot wait until he finally get's his own story! The chemisrty between the two was fast but once you read the first few lines of the book you'll understand why they bonded so quickly. This book was a constant page turner for me that I could not put down until I was finished because I wanted to see how it ended and I was not disappointed! A very good read!

Lieutenant Bill Harrison is looking for a team mate in Central America when his cover is compromised. DEA Agent Angel Martinez is quick to the rescue but soon both men find themselves on the run from a drug lord.

This story is a fast paced action thriller with drug lords, sexy marines and a DEA agent with all the right moves. The men are quickly thrown together by acting like a couple while to try to aid their escape. I love both characters; Bill and his Angel are both tough guys with a lot of heart. Bill knows almost instantly that his Angel is the man for him but there are some major bumps on their road to happiness.

Angelo sees that Bill is a quality guy who is loyal to his friends and doesn’t treat Angelo like he’s less of a man because he’s small. However they just met so how real could it be. Also, Angelo still has more work to do in Central America and that leads to more danger for men.

Is it real or is it the adrenaline taking? That is the question that crosses the mind of the men throughout the book.

This is the third book in Story Glenn's Special Operations series and one that I was really looking forward to reading so I could get to Bill's story. From the first book, he had me hooked, so secretive but someone you wanted to get to know; tall, dark, handsome and brooding.

The first introduction between these guys was hilarious. I loved the way Angelo "introduced" himself to Bill. It was a typical, total brat seducing his big, butch man who he hadn't seen for ages.

It was amusing to see the way Angelo seemed to go from sensual to angry at the drop of the hat. He kept Bill on his toes from start to end. One of the best bits being when they had to make everyone believe they were a couple, even after only just meeting, to get away from the bad guys. It was fun watching them act like they were in love and couldn't keep their hands off each other, all the while, still trying to get one up on each other.

In certain parts of the book Angelo did come across as very insecure, which made him angry with Bill. The chasing Bill had to do to get his Angel, as he nicknamed him, shows you what type of person Bill is--very loyal and when he loves he gives it everything. Time and again, Angelo dismissed Bill's feeling for him because they had only known each other for 48 hours.

I enjoyed this booked because even though it was lighthearted in parts with the bantering between them both, especially when Bill forgets to think before he speaks and puts his foot in his mouth, you can tell there are some serious issues for them to deal with. These issues were what added another element to the story, and without giving anything away, it brought the seriousness about using protection when first meeting someone.Read more ›

I enjoyed the interaction between the characters. One of Story Glenn's better books. I was horrified by what Angel endured but there was a great ending.
