Very insightful comments on the first part of the book of Revelation. What Christian has not struggled with trying to understand these profound visions of the Apostle John? I have read many commentaries over the years, but this one makes the most sense.

This is a great work on the book of Revelation. His understanding of how the symbolism of the book is outstanding. I believe every born again (blood bought) Christian needs to get into the book of Revelation to be able to discern what the Spirit is saying. I am presently teaching on the Seven Churches in Revelation and this book helped me tremendously by offering a work that I had not been able to get. His understanding again is remarkable.

I gave it three stars because I only read it through once. I need a lot of concentration when reading interpretations of revelation, and I don't concentrate that much on the first reading. I believe the author takes a historical interpretation of revelation, which is interesting in itself. I appreciate the fact that many of his books have no cost to them. Thank you, Mr. Stendal.

The writer has completely taken the book of Revelation out of context...... The Apostle John wrote that the things written in the Revelation were for a future time...... "hereafter"....... the author has twisted the scripture....... and has done exactly what the book of Revelation said not to do "take away or add to"..... this book was so far from the truth I deleted it from my kindle....... I am a bible prophecy teacher that believes in the rapture of the church, that the book of revelation is to be taken literally, and that what has been written has not been fulfilled yet but will be in the future once the church has been caught up to meet the lord in the air....... do not read this book it will lead you astray concerning bible prophecy..... if you want to understand the book of Revelation then I will recommend a great book on the subject written by Finis Dake called "God's Plan for Man"....... it will teach you the truth about the book of Revelation...... you will understand it....... and it will be truth....... God Bless!
