bought this for my nephew who is 11. He love to cook but His mother, my sister was so excited I believe she uses this more than he does. Havent tried anything out of it but i know my sisters whole family get great enjoyment out of all the recipes in this and it was very well written.

I received an advance review copy of this book from Rodale. It took me a while to review it because I could not get it away from my fifteen-year-old! He loved the recipes and loved that they are not "dumbed down" and that he could make them on his own with very little help from me. I think this should be on everyones Christmas List for their children. What better gift to give than to teach our children create healthy meals for themselves and those they will love and take care of when they grow up?!

We have cooked three recipes so far and by far the favorite is the shrimp with the Jamaican curry powder. We just loved it. (page 134).

WOW! This is not a kids book at all, but it's all about amazing kids! The recipes are far from peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ramen noodles, these kids are creating food that is far from the stuff I was eating as a kid. It comforts me to see kids learning to cook and not just that, eating amazing food!

I received this book on giveaway from Goodreads.I really liked the different international style of foods covered in the book/mostly the sweet treats/.There were a lot easy to follow recipes for novices and more complex which is great for me.
