Sorry for sounding so mean in a book review, but I was totally bummed after finishing the little book on 3D printing. I am not sure what the authors want to achieve with this book. 3D printing in only 5 chapters and 32 pages?! They barely scratched the surface of the topic. Below is the missing table of contents in the preview -
Chapter 1: What's a 3D Printer?
Chapter 2: How People Are Using 3D Printers
Chapter 3: 3D Printing Now
Chapter 4: Designing Your Own Object
Chapter 5: Where Can I Find 3D Printers?

Obviously, you can discover more than what's covered in the book online by yourself if you do a little bit research on 3D printing. Luckily, I borrowed the book through my library for free and didn't pay $9.99 for it.

I borrowed this book from the library since there was no online preview.

What I liked about this book: bare bones information about 3D printing. Didn't have a lot of fluff like a history lesson on the Industrial Revolution or the biography of the author. Had a few useful references for digging further into the topic. Great book for K12 library.

What I didn't like about the book: Although I had no objection to the brevity of the book, I think it could have been an ebook, with a way cheaper pricetag.
