What can I say? All three Bronte sisters were geniuses. This volume contains a few of Charlotte's little-known works about the imaginary kingdom of Verdopolis. This isn't a fantasy, though. It's pretty much, for her time, realistic fiction set in a made-up place that isn't too unlike the England Charlotte knew. This slim volume includes a wide range of works, from novellas to short stories, and there's even a very short play in there. I highly recommend this not only to devoted Bronte fans, but just readers in general.
