I'm a retired man teaching myself to sew and like to sew easy projects; totes, bags, place mats, etc. to keep busy. I bought this book after looking at the sample pages and liked what I saw. When it arrived my wife looked at it, liked it and "borrowed" it. My daughter saw the book and fell in love with the bag on the cover. Needless to say, they got the fabric she liked and the handles, and in a short time my wife turned out one lovely bag. My daughter loves it! Hoping I can get the book back in the near future so I can give another pattern a try. Always someone I know to pass on a finished project.
Oh, by the way, my wife said the pattern was easy to follow and I heard no fussing from her to say otherwise.

I love this book, all the bags are great and patterns easy to follow. Some books you may only like one or two of the patterns but his one you would want to make them all! Good value too.
