Good book for the beginner

I ordered this book just in time for a project which required extensive workflow customizations .I followed the examples and that of Oracle Extensibility book by Anil Passi .For workflow , this book has more examples ,with timeouts and other features .I recommend this book for those who just want something quick to get started to work on a project .

Good for those who have some understanding and some practical experience to oracle workflow applications

This book is good enough to start quickly with Workflow because it covers details from where you can start for various concepts within Workflow. However you need to have some basic understanding of programming knowledge because you cannot use this if you are new in Oracle E-Business environment. You need good experience in Oracle E-Business and Programming with some understanding of Oracle Workflow. This book will help to who are good self starter because many examples within books are from existing Oracle Applications so if you are looking for to learn complete workflow programming in Oracle ERP then you won't get out of this book. First get some Oracle training materials on oracle workflow and try out some examples and then if you read this book then it will be meaningful. Book has exercises after each chapter but no solutions so for those who expect complete solutions for these exercises they will get disappointed and will return book after reading few chapters, that is what I experienced when I bought for the first time.
