Pin-up photos reprinted from British magazines from the 60s. Decent book if you're just interested in what was being published in men's magazines in the United Kingdom during this time period. If you're expecting models similar to those that appeared in Playboy during the same years, you may be disappointed. Beauty is subjective, but I don't believe many of these photos would have made the grade with Hugh Hefner.

Before the 1970s there were no gynecological photos of nude models. They were more innocent with exposing buns and boobs. It was innocent, and I think far more erotic than the Hustler in-your-face type of photos. This book shares photos of bosomy women from the 60s delighting the camera with flashes of their bodies. If you enjoy those types of photos, this book should not disappoint.

This and the two companion volumes, 10970's and 1950's, are dissapointing. There are no references to the models names nor to publication dates and in what magazine. especially the 1960's and 70's look more like modern pictures, of modern women taken in the "style" of the earlier decades. I was expecting real models from those times with references to who they are.

Seriously, I love that these women are from little to no fame. I love the poses, the settings, it's pure cheesecake. I'd have given this a five star rating if it weren't for the glaring Photoshop jobs on the waist down of these women. Maybe it's not Photoshop, but some sore of censorship pre-digital age, but it was a major disappointment. Ruined the book for me, after the first one I noticed, I saw it everytime. They look like weird dolls. This was to be my introduction to this series, but now I know I'll steer clear of the lot. Don not waste your money.
