GREAT BOOK!

I had repeatedly requested that this book be made available in Kindle Format, and when it was finally Kindle-ed I was not disappointed!

Like the previous Lightning Boys books, Hunter Boys is a compilation of stories written about various pilots who flew Hawker's Masterpiece, the Hawker Hunter. Like Lightning Boys, every story is skillfully written and totally engrossing.
Like Lighting Boys, I fervently hope that there will be a Hunter Boys 2!

I have come to be a big fan of author Richard Pike's aviation books. I just finished the excellent Beaufighter Ace, about his late father, and I intend to buy and read everything Richard Pike has written.

Excellent book, with some great stories.

What we need now are the stories of the ground crews who enabled these gentlemen to rise to the heights that they did in safety and with reliability. As is said 'If flying were difficult, they would let the engineers do it'.

Terrific book, well worth the effort.

Excellent book - comprehensive coverage of pilot experiences from all Air Forces not just the RAF. Even has a chapter from India, the country that most used the Hunter in anger.
