A little more mature...

Format: Audio CD

In general regarding Cat Chat: Cat Chat has become an instant family favorite! I love it, my kids (5 and 3 years) love it, the songs are catchy, it's entertaining, and it is orthodox and educational.

The only reason I gave this three stars is because it is the only one of the whole Cat Chat set that I had reservations about having my kids listen to - they are young and there is a conversation about the break up on one of the character's parents' marriage. To me, that wasn't an idea I wanted to introduce my kids to at such a young age. The "story" of this CD is a family camping trip.

A highlight of this CD is the inclusion of "Trading My Sorrows" song. It is so upbeat and catchy!

Format: Audio CD Verified Purchase

As another reviewer stated, this story goes into some heartbreaking detail about a divorce. I wish I had known that, I wouldn't have purchased it. We love cat.chat, and I will buy more of their cd's, but I don't think this material should be presented in a Catholic cd for young children without some warning. My little kids don't even know what divorce is, and I was kinda horrified to find out they were listening to this at bedtime. On the other hand, if your children or children you know are going through a divorce, this would be a great cd for them to listen to. So, I gave it four stars. It *is* a good cd, in general, and I should have previewed it first before giving it to my young kids, or read the reviews more carefully. But I wouldn't have bought it if I'd realized what the topic matters were going to be.

Wonderful kid CD

We have ordered several of the CDs from this series and my children enjoy them very much. My kids range in age from 7 to 2 and all of them like it. I really like a few of the songs too. Its a good mix of stories and songs. Perfect for car trips or anyday.
