This book is a nice twist on some southern classics. It has some interesting recipes that have southern flair but aren't "typical," like sweet tea ice cream and banana pudding bars. The best part of this book is the fact that it has nice pictures to accompany each recipe, which I really appreciate.

The only reason I am giving this four stars instead of five is the fact that it's a little expensive (I spent $22 on Amazon) and doesn't have as many recipes as other, cheaper southern dessert books do. I recommend some of Southern Living's dessert books, like their pie book or cake book. Those books have more recipes and are cheaper than this one.
