Frightfully Delicious

I bought this thinking, "Wow! How cool is it that there is a cookbook based on literary works?" I just made the Venetian Lemon Chicken- inspired by The Talented Mr. Ripley by Patricia Highsmith, it was amazing! There are so many interesting literary facts in here as well as the recipes. Not to mention, the illustrations are really cool too. If your a fan of quirky books and cooking, this is for you. I plan on making more of the meals from this book. Some seem a bit complicated- or even pricey, but others seem really simple and are affordable. There is a variety of recipes in here. When asked where I got the recipe for the chicken, I tell them the name of the book (Recipe for Murder) and then the conversation starts! I definitely recommend this. You do not have to be an expert in the kitchen for this book. I'm just an average college student with basic cooking knowledge!
