Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
This book is phenomenal! I am a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) working at the vascular laboratory in University of MIami. We do plenty of TCD examinations as well as Emboli detections. I love vascular because of the hemodynamics involved in it. However, I can see why Neurosonology is a field of its own. It's hemodynamics on another level. The oscillation techniques and maneuvers described in this book are amazing and have helped me perform better examinations. What I found very useful are the 30 case studies presented in the book; as a matter of fact more than half of the book (pages 127 - 350) thoroughly covers the case studies. I have not yet looked at the clips from the DVD which comes with this book. I'm pretty sure it will be just as useful as the book itself. This was a great purchase! I must add that this is the only Neurosonology book that I own so I have nothing else to compare it to. Yet I feel this book is worth every penny--good content, good quality, and great presentation.
