SIMPLY THE BEST TINA CONCERT!

This is,in my opnion, the best Tina concert video every. The concert was filmed in 1990 as part of the Foriegn Affair World Tour which broke record all over the world. The tour played to more than 3 million people and did 120 shows. Tina is absolutly amazing in this video. She gives out 16 great numbers with the help of her band, dancers, 3 costume changes, a suspended crane that goes 100 feet into the audience, and tons of fireworks and pirotechnics. And dont forget the huge 30 step stair case. The setlist includes Steamy Windows, Typical Male, Foriegn Affair, Undercover Agent For the Blues, Ask Me How I Feel, We Dont Need Another Hero, Private Dancer, Nutbush City Limits, Addiceted To Love, The Best, I Dont Wanna Lose You, Whats Love Got To Do With It, Lets Stay Together, Proud Mary, Better Be Good, and finishes with Be Tender. The only flaw in this video is that they didnt show the whole concert. The cut out Show Some Respect, I Cant Stand The Rain, and River Deep Mountain High. This concert was filmed at the Barcelona Stadium and was performed infront of 70,000 fans. GO TINA!

At Her Best and Then Some...!

This is, by far, one of Tina's most electrifying live cincerts ever. It's like a great book: a great intro, fabulous and entertaining middle, with a killer suprise ending. I've been a Tina Turner fan for five years and I still thinks she's cool. I recomend this video for anyone who either loves Tina Turner, is into magnanimous live concerts or simply -- "...Want(s) Some Action!"

10 stars.....Better Than All the Rest

This video deserves 10 stars. From the dancing, which Tina choreographed herself, to the songs, which Tina sang with so much vibrant energy, everyhting stands out beautifuly. This is the video for Tina's amazing Foreign Affair tour in early 1990. At the time Tina was fifty years old but you couldn't tell if you looked with a microscope. Tina delivers an soulful Typical Male, a song which I think is not among her best, but in this video it shines. Also this is the last video, still available in the US, that has Let's Stay Together. Anothert thing which I loved about this video is Tina's face, from smiling to bursting with pure soul; it's amazing.

Exceptional Performance!

What's so great about seeing one of Ms. Turner's concerts on video or DVD is that you don't really have to be a fan of hers to enjoy it. If you're not really a fan, you'll still enjoy her magnetism and energy, her rapport with the audience. That special rapport is clearly in evidence here, as she has this very large(70,000 strong) audience in the palm of her hand. If you are a big Tina fan(as I am), then you will absolutely adore this video. This stands as one of her best shows, and is a personal favorite of mine. She seems full of life and fire, from the opening number, Steamy Windows, when she descends a flight of stairs to the stage, to the finale, Better Be Good To Me, which is so much more up-tempo than the radio version. This special and unique lady has so much soul and energy you can't help but fall under her spell. Please, if you are or aren't a Tina fan, get this video and enjoy a Rock-and-Roll Hall-of-Famer put on one whale of a show while she's at the top of her game.

Ageless Performer for all ages

I am a 62 year old WASP,touched by the story of Tina's life, in her biography, and the movie which followed. I will never be too old to be enthralled by her special presence, as so well shown in this exceptional video.
I plan to show my grandsons this video when they are old enough. I have seen few performers with as much authentic soul as Tina, who, at the same time, communicate so directly to this huge audience in Barcelona. (She is in complete control)
The clarity and diversity of the camerawork, the quality of the sound; the sweeps across this vast crowd, make viewing this video an experience which passes all too quickly. EXCEPTIONAL!

A good show.

As always with thia wonderful woman,what you see is what you get,And with Tina that is everything. As always she gives a stuning performance. Full of energy life heart and soul. many of these songs she has continued to sing on most of her tour's,Steamy windows,We don't need another hero,Nutbush,what's love gotta do with it,The best and the list could go on. A watchable video,as ever it is a must with any Tina fan,If you don't own this video yet then you are missing out. GO OUT AND BUY IT. A good solid performance.Everything you come to expect from this wonderful lady.
