This is a tape I use frequently in my workout rotations. Marilu is a very friendly, upbeat instructor. She has a background in teaching dance and uses it to create a fun, challenging routine. The basic moves include the fox step, samba, charleston, grapevines, and kick-ball-change. It takes some practice to get all the moves down. She teaches them slowly at first, then speeds it up. It definitely gets me sweating! She also includes a toning section(abs, buns, thighs), and a cool down stretch. Her brother and sister-in-law are with her in the video. The setting is a dance studio with a lot of big windows. The music is lively, broadway-type music. I think it is filmed well...you can always see the move you're supposed to be doing. You can tell by her voice that they're in a large room...she doesn't use a microphone, but it's easy to hear her. She also has a section where she discusses her ideas about health. I think it's a terrific video.

Marilu did not think about the people with two left feet. She goes really fast during the dance steps. I could not even do half of the workout when I did it for the first time. She does not realize that not everyone could do the dances that she does in the video

Marilu's workout tape is great. The moves are easy to do and, rather than feeling like a workout, you feel like you've just spent 50 minutes dancing. I loved this workout!
