5.0 out of 5 stars A Triumph!, November 19, 2001
By A Customer
This was one of the best films of 1989. It's a powerful story of everlasting and unconditional friendship. Lou Ferrigno gives an awe-inspiring performance as Billy Thomas, a Vietnam veteran with a mental disability. Reb Brown plays Scott Monroe, also a Vietnam vet and Billy's best friend. Billy gets abducted and tricked into cage-fighting, and Scott must find and rescue him from the clutches of the Chinese mafia. This treasure is a must see for action movie fans!

2.0 out of 5 stars Should be under comedy, March 10, 1999
By A Customer
Unfortunately they took full advantage of Lou's disability. What's worse is he allowed it.

It does provide some great sound bites when for tapes or radio.

3.0 out of 5 stars LOU- greater than Arnold, December 29, 2001
By A Customer
How this film got past the attention of Mystery Science Theater 3000" is a mystery. This is one of the funniest films ever made- unintentionally funny. Lou Ferrigno's speech problem is taken advantage of by the film's producers who have cast him as a man with the mind of a child.
Although I have great respect for Lou's physique and he is a very nice guy- this movie is a joke. The plot is lined with every evil ethnic stereotype- Italian gangsters(Mario and Tony), a bloodthirsty Mexican streetgang and a sinister Chinese crime syndicate.
If you can tolerate the tired and weak dialouge- it's good for a few laughs.
