I attached these to a remote dimmer receiver module and use them in my bedroom to provide a warm soft glow behind my HDTV stand with surround system. I can control the light level remotely by using an X10 type Remote Controller. Will be ordering a longer set for a similar setup in the main home theater room. Considering building a small L shaped structure to lay along the baseboard and place the lights behind it so their light washes up the wall.

I've had this rope light for almost an entire year now, and it's still running strong! Its a perfect length to keep behind your TV stand to add nice ambient lighting. It really does make a difference in the overall look of a room. The blue color of the light is very deep, to the point where it almost seems slightly purple.

Due to the depth of the emitted light color and length of "bulb" life, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Let's say you purchase a string of cbconcept lights, you are elated that they arrived and actually work....but you already left feedback and can't change your feedback when they fail in only a few months. We're glad we did not leave feedback simply because they worked initially. Big deal, long term these are not so great a deal. More likely a fire hazard.

Had trouble finding a 3ft string which matched some other 6 and 12ft lights to match the color since they were incadecent this matched very close.Very easy to install and provides a nice warm glow in the kitchen where they are installed. I bought to decorate my bedroom by placing it on the wall. Due to the fact that it has on side flat, you can use tape to tape it and get stick there. Additionally, it has short to with plug in, which is important when your socket is in some distance form the place you want to decorate.

A power switch or properly removable power cable would have been nice. As it is, the power cable comes apart from the light rope since the connection was held together with white glue which is still wet. Otherwise it's very bright and lights up the thing I needed lit very well. I may buy another one despite the shortcomings.

These are a great replacement for rope lighting that we had to replace after a power surge during a storm. Above all the cabinets in the kitchen, the builder had installed these plug-in rope lights. The lighting replaced was American Lighting E-174991. These LED lights were "plug-and-play" replacements. No problem. Not 5 stars because the description was "Warm White" but these are definitely not "Warm White". They are not "Cool White" either, so perhaps the description is not too hard to understand. Our first impression when plugging these in was "slight greenish tint" rather than the amber tint with "Warm White". Worked out ok with our paint in the kitchen, so we kept them. I'll see if there's a way to put up a picture of the result....

Its been over a month and the strong smell still exists. Would not recommend because of the smell...But the lights are heavy duty.
