From the great Pushead cover art to the absolutely brutal music, this is a genuine classic of metallic-hardcore...a genre that is 99 percent CRAP. These guys (along with Ringworm) were one of the few bands to follow in the steps of good late 80s hardcore bands that mixed metal and hardcore, ala Cro Mags, Leeway, Outburst, etc. ESSENTIAL even though Victory Records is a total Nambla-fest.

Every positive aspect of Integrity and their music absolutely shines here and is turned up to eleven. Dwid has some of his most powerful and introspective lyrics, while the Melnick brothers continue to create classic instrumentals in the Integrity discography. The result of the above mentioned creates a gem of hostile aggression in a manner that only this band could dish out. While this is an incredibly heavy record, it keeps a manner of catchiness that personally keeps me from getting bored at any point in the record. Even though it is a short record and has less than twenty minutes of music, it paces itself incredibly well and allows every member to have their time to shine. The opening classic "Vocal Test" gives us an idea of the throat shredding vocals that Dwid can give out. The bass lines in "Psychological Warfare" and "Abraxas Annihilation" (also quite possibly the best two-step song in all of hardcore) are incredibly played by the one and only, "MICHAAAAAA" and kept me enthralled throughout the duration of the track. His older brother Aaron also has some incredibly moments in the songwriting department, most notably on "trapped Under Silence" and "Jagged Visions of My True Destiny".

Yet the most incredible aspect of this record is the replay value. I have listened to very few other EPs that have kept me coming back and held my attention as well as this album has. With only six "real songs" you would imagine there are only so many times you could spin these songs. However, that isn't the case here, each song is a classic in the Integrity discography. Each song also flows extremely well into the next and the order of the track listing is well thought out and once again, it shows in the pacing of the album.

In conclusion, if you're new to the band and are interested in a truly great metalcore record, I could not recommend this enough and if you give this album a chance, I can guarantee it will make you hungry for the rest of their discography.

Integrity EP is one of thier best CD (with Systems Overload) The song are all great. Some songs are a little short but this songs are very agressive.

By far this is one of the greatest albums ever, it transcends hardcore and metal into something far better. its not stuck in the political trappings of most of todays music, instead it deal with subjects such as Apocolypse and total disaster...definitly a vvaluable source of preparation. END

WOWWWW! I was suprising myself! I listened to the few short tracks and I was happy! It was like looking into face of Satan and he looks at you and it hurt! But the good way! I feel that this album should be bought by all lovers of evil hurt core. IT ROCKED MY SOCK OFF OF ME!
