I Have always enjoyed the Osborne brothers. and Rocky top is one of my all time favorite songs. Was happy to find it for sale at a great price. It arrived quickly in great shape and it is an excellent cd. I would buy again gladly

My father had this on 8-track when I was a child. The CD sure sounds a lot better! The first note took me back to my childhood. An outstanding album from the Osborne Brothers and award winning songwriters Boudleaux and Felice Bryant.

Perhaps the POINT of this album should be at least briefly mentioned: it celebrates the astonishing achievements of the greatest husband-wife songwriting team in American history. Just for a start, no Bryants = no Everly Brothers, which implies no Beatles as we know them. Boudleaux and Felice Bryant wrote "All I Have To Do Is Dream," "Bye Bye Love," "Wake Up Little Susie,", "Bird Dog," "Devoted To You," and "Love Hurts," as well as "Rocky Top," and both have been inducted into most songwriter Halls Of Fame. This album offers a fine selection of their NON-hits, which were just as good as the hits, merely not as lucky. No offense at all intended to the band, here....but anyone would sound great with material like this.

Anybody who has clogged to any of the Osborne brothers' music knows that those guys are good. I like to clog sometimes, and this will make it more fun. In case you don't know, clogging is a type of dance. I wanted this particular album because we had lost our copy of Tennessee Hound Dog, which is on this one. Thank you, amazon.com.

This is the only Osbourne Brothers recording I have and it is excellent. I'm looking to obtain more but I think I've done well choosing this as my first one. It is real enjoyable. Sonny and Bobby are wonderful musicians and singers. I love this double album.

You can't got wrong with the Bryant's songs but I found a couple to not be up to par. The Osborne Brothers are always good bluegrass so this is still a good album.
