Damn, whenever I throw this in the player, I'm instantly transported to them old school backyard parties of the Bklyn/Bronx variety. The ones where I'd be the only yankee-gyal in the area.
Lights would be low, speakers would be throwing bass and everyone would be winin' to the wickedest tunes- all featured on this compilation.
A must have.

I love this cd...I couldn't find these songs any place...they cd is the best....it has all the songs that makes me happy....I highly recommend..

I am not a huge gan of these various artists collections, but after I got this promo cd at work I took it home and gave it a listen and was impressed by it.
Combining some of today's newer artists like Shabba Ranks and Tiger with some of the 80s greats like Cocoa Tea and even an elder like Freddie McGregor (its great to see him going strong) made for a very satisfying collection and one well worth loking into to see the past and present of reggae.
