Bill Harley is the funniest story teller/songter around and Amazon.com should offer ALL of his recordings! Anyone who has ever eaten in a school cafeteria will appreciate the efforts of the third-graders in "Mrs. Lunchroom Lady" to get seconds of what they like without cleaning their plates. The other story on this CD, "Weezie & the Moonpies," will have everyone singing the "Moonpies" song, over and over. You will recognize similar characters from your own childhood/neighborhood in this tale. This CD was nominated for a Grammy, and it deserved to win.

I was lucky to see Bill Harley, a true American original, perform "Weezie" at the former 3 Apples Storytelling Festival in Mass. The audience, kids and adults, were literally hanging onto every word.

The other story, "Mrs. Lunchroom Lady," is also valuable for teaching children to respect not only teachers, but others in school as well. I recommend this CD for anybody who is or was a child with a sense of humor!

Although perhaps not Bill Harley's best, this was still far and away better than the vast majority of kids' stuff out there. I'd get "Battle of the Mad Scientists" before this one, if you had to choose one over the other; but still worth purchasing in its own right.

Our family loves all of Bill Harley's CDs and books. Nothing passes the time quicker on a long car ride than listening to Bill's stories or songs. The five of us range in age from 5 to 40 and we all laugh and laugh to the stories on this CD!! Give Bill's CDs as gifts instead of plastic stuff from China.

Moonpies, I like Moonpies, Moonpies are good for me!
My children and I find ourselves singing this song through the grocery store, after putting a box of Moonpies in the cart, and we never really liked Moonpies before. Beware of this track, it is addicting! But oh so enjoyable!
And the story about Mrs. Lunchroom lady is equally addicting. You'll wish you had a hot bread and butter sandwich for yourself.
Try it! You'll love it!

We are fortunate to live in Bill Harley's neck of the woods, and have seen him perform several times. This CD is a favorite, for both my own children and my fifth graders.
We all sing the Moonpie song, and we have been heard to say, "Put your tray in the window, there's no seconds for you, you're done for the day."
Bill Harley rocks!!

Our whole family loves Bill Harley and I think these are two of his best, laugh out loud funny stories. Everyone can relate to the peculiar angst of childhood- Bill remembers it and knows how to voice it. I recommend any and all of his stories and songs. They are entertaining for children and adults, and a welcome break from the sickeningly sweet pap that is so often marketed as entertainment for children
