I've tried many of the cheap compatibles from various vendors and none can compare to Okidata ribbons in performance or reliability! I will be using Oki ribbons from now on. No more cheapos! I did a comparison test recently - the cheap ribbons nearly always fray & snag. The Okidata ribbons never failed to print for any reason.

THESE ARE NOT GENUINE OKIDATA RIBBONS!!! Every one I purchased lasts about five simple invoices! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! WILL RETURN IF POSSIBLE.

The OKI Ink ribbon cartridges were just what I ordered at a good price $1.99 each, but the shipping and handling was $39.96 and I guarantee the cost to ship to us was not more than $5.00. The OKI Ink Cartridges are little ribbon boxes and may weight a 1/4 pound at most, it was shipped in a plastic sleeve envelope with no packaging protection via U.S. Postal Service. I am very disappointed in the way this company does business by gouging the customer for shipping and handling charges. Will not buy from them again.

Having gotten the same advise from 3 printer repair techs and also having seen the results of premature head wear, we ONLY use Genuine Okidata Ribbons. They last longer than the cheap copies and, according to the techs, they lubricate the pins and shafts in the head.
