I was very pleased to find this movie so cheaply recently...but when I put it in my DVD player, it was too fuzzy to even be watchable...I hadnt realized a DVD transfer could be this bad. So while it is a good 4-out-of-5 stars kind of movie, I wiould suggest looking seriously for a different brand than Front Row. Its certainly possible that I just got a bad copy, but i wont be risking my money on their products anymore.

CHARADE is an excellent, classic movie and is worthy of a 5 star rating. However, this particular DVD by Front Row Features is not the best. LETTERBOXED EDITION is printed on the case, but the movie is the full screen version. The picture is of poor quality. If your looking for a good DVD of CHARADE, there are better versions around.

This is a good film, BUT this particular product by Front Row Features is not a good transfer (as stated in another review) PLUS the package clearly states that it is the "letterbox" version and it is the full screen version.

Be very careful if you are considereing buying a "Front Row" product. I've purchased two others so this is not based on a one time purchase. They are inexpensive, but not great. Remember the old saying, "you get what you pay for".
