In the comedy LITTLE NICKY, Adam Sandler plays Nicky, a heavy metal rock fan who also happens to be the son of the devil. When it is announced that his father will not give up the throne and continue to rule hell for the next 10,000 years, Nicky's evil brothers go up to Earth to steal human souls and generally create hell on earth. Now, Nicky is charged with the task of bringing both of his brothers back to hell in order to restore the balance between good and evil all over the world and to save his father from rapidly decomposing. This movie is totally halarious with alot of perverted humor thrown in for good measure and it actually helps the story move along. Also includes cameo appearences by Rodney Dangerfield, Kevin Nealon, Reese Witherspoon, Jon Lovitz, Dana Carvey, and Ozzy Osbourne. The DVD edition of this film contains special features such as the theatrical trailer for the film, a behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of the film, an excellent documentary on heavy metal music, and a halarious commentary track.

Definitely a good comedy, Little Nicky, brings to the screen the story of the devil's youngest son, who travels to Earth in search of his two older brothers who are responsible for his father's ongoing decomposition and eventual death. Things become a bit more complicated since little Nicky is not "all evil..."

Adam Sandler, Harvey Keitel, Reese Witherspoon, and the rest of the cast, have outdone themselves with their performances, which are exceptional to say the least. All the actors, without exceptions, give it their 100% and it really shows! Very well written and very well presented, the movie is without a doubt guaranteed to provide more than just a few laughs.

The setting, the plot, the dialogues, the humor, and the music are all wonderful!

In short, Little Nicky is a movie worth watching and even though it is not quite as good as the Waterboy or the Wedding Singer, it is definitely a keeper! 4½ Stars

A hilarious movie!

Nicky, played by Adam Sandler, is a son of the devil - BUT he's more on the angelic side because his mother was an angel! The movie is about the hilarious events that happen to Nicky and his brothers as Nicky tries to save his father - who is literally falling to pieces because his other two sons have escaped Hell and are doing what they can to take their fathers Throne away from him. An all-star cast makes this movie even more hilarious - - along with Adam Sandler you have Patricia Arquette, Harvey Keitel, Rhys Ifans, Tommy Lister, Rodney Dangerfield, Peter Dante, Allen Covert, Dana Carvey, Jon Lovitz, Quentin Tarantino, Johnathan Loughran, Kevin Nealon, Robert Smigel, Ozzy Osbourne, Henry Winkler, Laura Harring, Clint Howard, Carl Weathers, Leah Lail, Michael McKean, Frank Sivero, and Regis Philbin.

I have always been a fan of the religous spoofs. his one was no execption. great plot to it but make no mistake hell is not a cool place and satan does not have a good personality. But still good movie and funny with the anti-christ if you want to call him that must save the world from the other two spawns of satan. good enough for the digital shelf and the dvd came in new conditon

Excellent movie, especially if your an Adam Sandler fan as I am. He does a great job and it give you a funny portrayal of hades. Adam is at his best along with his friends that seem to always join in in his movies.

Cute at times but a bit gross. I loved parts of it and found other parts too predictable and amateurish. Adam Sandler's acting left much to be desired, but overall I liked the film. I bought it because I like most of Sandler's work. I feel his best was "The Wedding Singer". A notch below was "You Don't Mess With Zohan". On a scale of 1-10 I give Wedding a 9, Zohan an 8, and Little Nicky a 6. It's viewable and entertaining.

The Antichrist is an idiot on this movie and his brothers in Hell know it and want him dead. However, this is not a horror movie. This is comedy starring Adam Sandler, Harvey Keitel, Rodney Dangerfield, Ozzy Osbourne, and many more. Satan is dying and Nicky must save him by fighting his brothers from Hell. Excellent special effects, good soundtrack, and an all star cast make this comedic fun!

Cute movie and kinda creepy, but it's Adam Sandler, so, funny and enjoyable. My 19 year old son loves it--even more than alot of Sandler's other movies. Well worth the few dollars. Probably not for wee, little ones.
