'Remember the Alimony' is a epic tribute to all things Wal-Mart! It takes you back to a time when things were a lot simpler and a whole lot less coherent. You'll find yourself pining away for Daisy Duke (or Luke Duke, depending on yer prefrunce), Colt .45's (malt liquor that is...)and that old camaro you drove in high school. This album has so inspired me that I'm going to marry my first cousin and replace my car's tires with gen-u-ine cinderblocks. Viva Joe Buck!

Despite these boys' West Coast residence, you can tell from their twang and desperation that they've had a major appliance on the porch for most of their lives.

I'm never one to go for this kind of music, but took a listen to please a friend. I was real surprised. The music is alt-country, but with a real tongue-in-cheek feel, unlike the seriousness you find with Robbie Fulks and Lucinda Williams and the like, although they really can't be compared to this. These guys have catchy tunes, humorous lyrics, and make you real nostalgic for some good old-fashioned americana. While this ain't pushing any boundaries or redefining the medium, Remember the Alimony is still a pretty good time.

I can no longer acknowledge the droning whines of my wife and children. The voices of my friends and family are now memories. Ever since my ears feasted on the majesty of Joe Buck, I will not allow them to be made impure by any other earthly sounds. Listening to Joe Buck's masterpiece brings me orgasmic ecstacy. From the classical touches of "Easy Street" to the homoerotic thriller "Hillbilly Thunder Machine", Remember the Alimony takes me from tears to laughter to naughty time. Well done boys!
