Sturdy but won't lock.

Sturdy and works but I failed to notice that they don't have any way to lock into a spring chuck on a bit driver. A couple of small notches would have made these much, much better. Because of this, I never use them.

The only bit I keep on my drill

This is the only driver bit I have kept on my drills for a number of years. They are getting hard to find as most local stores want you to buy their crappy store brand, but luckily Amazon carries them. P2 and Sq2 bits do most everything you need, and since they are dewalt, they are made out of hard enough steel to not round off quickly (which is the problem with most chain store brands).

Wish I had found these sooner !

We bought a property that required a lot of "un-building" a while back. Along the way we discovered that the previous owner had apparently used regular phillips screws for years but then decided to switch to square-recess ones instead.

Pretty much every de-construction job seemed to involve a constant switching between the two types bits on my Dewalt driver. About every third time I put one down to make the switch I forgot it and lost it!

With these the bit-switching process is a quick five-second job flipping the bit - and I've got a lot fewer lost bits. I'm even thinking of switching to square-recess screws for my next projects.

A must have bit for power drivers

These bits are an ok replacement for a similar type I bought years ago at either Rockler or Woodcraft. They lack a detent ring on the shank which allows the bit to snap/lock into a spring loaded chuck but are otherwise quite serviceable.

This double-ended bit is one of the simplest yet best ideas in tools in years, since everything you screw Out is usually phillips #2, and everything you screw In should probably be square-drive #2... So this way you don't have to try (and fail) to keep track of the drill And the extra bit. But I don't understand why on the big river they are currently more than twice the price of elsewhere. (pack of 3 for "6"... Should be: pack of 3 for "less than 3".

Much better than standard philips head
