I bought these during a temporary price reduction, when the cost was little more than dollar store price. This is a good quality 2-wire extension cord, made with the bigger 16 gauge wire rather than the usual 18 gauge. Sockets are tight, but they are supposed to be so as to make good, solid contact with the plug. Don't think that the dollar store cords are "better" because it is easier to plug in... easy plug-in means they are of lower quality.

I bought the extension cable to hang up Christmas star over door way. I had previously purchased one from a dollar store but cable was only 8ft so needed a cable of longer length. Picked this cable due to length and the Coleman name.

Received the item quickly but on inspection the extension cord was just okay in build quality. The dollar store bought extension cable had better molded connections and plug ports. Expected better quality from a Coleman cable over a dollar store extension.

I got this for my daughter's place, which lacks any outlet in the bathroom, for hairdryers and such. Imagine my surprise when I realize it has no three prong plug, only the two prong! Oh well one can always use an extra extension cord, just be aware of this before ordering, or get an adapter with it.

20 foot extension being stored in its cardboard sleeve unused, for whenever its' needed. U.L. rated 16 guage 13A 1625W. Polarized plug & sockets. End has 1 socket with 2 sockets on other, with cover if not used. All connections fit well. Well constructed...made Indonesia, for Country. recommend to keep one around for good expension length and reasonable price.

It is exactly same in quality as extension cord you will find in dollar store or at Walmart. Only thing is you cant find a 20' long extension cord there. It is hard to push plug in it as it doesn't go all the way in. It is working but definitely dollar store quality.

Works as expected for an affordable extension cable. The only real downside is that it is not a grounded 3 prong type, which means I can only plug in 2 prong cables.

But the price is right for what it is. Just keep in mind to not purchase this if you need the 3 prong (ground) extension cables.

What can I say? It's an extension cord. I wasn't going to give it 5 stars because I thought, "How can one LOVE an extension cord?!" My bedroom has no wall outlets. That's right. It's an old building. What are ya going to do? Amazon to the rescue! I needed a loooong extension cord to run along the bottom of the wall from the hallway into the bedroom so I can have a lamp, charge my phone, etc and this will do the trick.
