Dowel centers are quickest and most accurate method to locate, transfer and match dowel holes. Made of nickel plated steel. Set includes eight pieces--two of each size 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" and 1/2" diameter.

• Scribe point transfers mark for accurate drilling position

I bought a set of these (identical in every way), over 30 years ago and have a project coming up that requires extras. Unlike many products that are still being made, but not as well as they used to be, these are the same quality as my old ones. The only difference is the packaging - the old ones were in a slotted plastic box. As I remember, the price is less than inflation would have caused. This is a good buy for a product that works.
