I think I will like this towel bar if I can ever install it. There were no instructions in the box or on the box, so I had to download instructions from the website. It comes with drywall anchors that I have no confidence in, so I bought different ones. And the set screws require a tiny hex wrench, although the size is not specified, so I'll have to take the fixture to the hardware store and find a hex wrench that fits. I'm giving the product a three, because it looks nice but the installation is not user friendly.
Next day. Okay, I rescind my cranky review. The drywall anchors that are provided are better than the ones I bought. We'll see how well they hold up. And, what do you know, the itty bitty wrench was included in the bag of screws and anchors. Easy to miss. Anyway, now the towel bar is up and looks splendid. I still give it a three for lacking instructions.

We wanted a 30" bar so we could hang two towels. For some reason, it's not easy to find 30" bars. The local store had one really cheap bar, which we considered because who would really see it with towels hanging? And then we thought about how weak the cheap one was, and how easy it would be to bend/dent, and decided to order this Gatco bar. Great decision! It's very sturdy and good quality, and enough of the design shows even with the towels hanging to make us glad we picked it.

I had been looking for a towel bar to match the other one already in the house we just bought. I did find it at Lowes, but it was not available at the store. So I went to Lowes site. It was there, but thought I would check Amazon also. Well it cost less on Amazon! Very happy with the towel bar, looks great in the bathroom.

This was one of a very few 30" bars I found. It isn't cheap chrome looking/feeling plastic but instead a solid, nice looking bar!! Was pleasantly surprised especially considering the few choices at this length on the market.

After seeing the 30" towel bars offered at the big box home stores and hardware stores, I was disappointed. They were all thin, flimsy bars that most customers complained of them easily denting and bending with use and or during installation. I saw these Gatco products here and so many reviews saying how nice the quality was, I opted to pay the slightly higher price and try it. I was greatly pleased and happy ( as one can be with a towel bar) to see how solid and well made this is. Definitely worth the few extra dollars from the cheaper ones, for a sturdier bar, and very nice thick chrome work. The installation was easy (no directions are included, but easy to downloaded ad from Gatco's website), and the towel bar held up excellently through a week's holiday visit of a family of 4 using the same bathroom.

These towel bars work perfectly. My towels can hang on them. :-)
While not the super heavy brass setup you can buy for $350 at the designer bath shop, they are attractive, solidly built, nicely finished, easy to install and should last a long time, For the price they are a great value and will likely compliment any bathroom. Mine are installed on the back of a door due to the limited space I have.

Hard to find 30" towel racks in any of the 'big box' stores, or for that matter any brick and mortar shop. This rack fit the need and very easily replaced the broken rack we had. Now I am left 'high and dry' after hanging this rack (that's actually a good thing)
