I wanted to combine two 4 panel privacy screens also available on/through Amazon, this is identical to the hardware on the panels, the screws are the proper size to secure to the wood of the panel with out spliting it..

The new hinges are great. We bought a cheap room divider to use as a door in an odd shaped opening at the bottom of the basement stairs - to keep a couple cats separated. So we are constantly opening and closing it. The cheap hinges started failing almost immediately. (Most people put up a room divider and never touch it again). These are much stronger - I could tell right out of the box - and so far I've had no problems

A good quality hinge. Helps me create wood "privacy" screens to keep my dogs out of areas. once attached, the hinge flexes either way (like a Jacob's ladder toy configuration). I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because this same package of two hinges is available for $3.91 through the home depot website. Over double the price is not worth buying on amazon, especially since I can order from HD and have it shipped for free. I learned my lesson the hard way, don't overpay for these!

I used these to anchor a 4 panel privacy screen to the wall. This allows full movement (180degrees left/right) of the screen, and allows me to have it lie flush against the wall, when desired. These are the same type hinges that are installed on most privacy screens and so blend in and don't look out of place.

A lightweight hinge. Don't expect it to hold much weight without deflecting. It was entirely unsatisfactory for holding a lamp arm (3/4" x 5") that stuck out 2 feet.
