I wanted to have a complete set of test probes and T-connection to use for my class because parts provided by school are old and not reliable. As it turns out, I think I would have been better off using those parts than this piece of junk. I wasted most of my time trying to figure out my output was noisy or not present at all. I went over my circuit carefully and everything was connected correctly. I tried using different wave generators and oscilloscopes, but nothing worked. I finally borrowed a T-connector and all my problems went away. This thing is so cheaply built that if you pull on the BNC connector just a little bit, it comes apart. Don't waste your money.

I have noticed that some of the Knock-Offs aren't quite as good as the old amphenols and pomonas.
I can't recommend the former proven suppliers - cuz, it looks like their stuff is made in China, too.
Old surplus stuff on E-Bay is better.

Still, these things are quite cost effective.
Milling is ok... you may have to jiggle and twist to get it to fit.
The locking collar may come off in your hand on a few of'm..
The propolyne insulator may pop out...
At the price, attrition is to be expected.

Some of them are bound to survive break in.

Not for precision measurements, at least not with the ones I got. When tested with a spectrum analyzer, the middle connector when turned (under a 50 ohm load) would show 3db-10db loss spikes, mostly in DC-50mhz area.

Good solid product at a good price. I used these to connect the antennas on two Shure SLX receivers. They have been operating well, and this is much cheaper than buying Shure's kit if you already have multiple single receivers and need to connect them. We also had the BNC cables so this was a no brainer.

It works, but it is cheap construction. The outer barrel will flex with heavy finger pressure (and I don't think it's because I'm stronger than I think). Not recommended for anything precision or testing. It shows as a reflection on a scope. But, it does work for other things and the price is low, so...how important is precision to you? Good for some uses.

After only 3 uses, the connector is already uncomfortably loose. It still has a decent electrical connection, but it's hard to use it with any confidence whatsoever. Go ahead and save yourself the trouble and just buy the $8-$10 ones instead.

Junk not worth the three bucks. The lower end of the T isn't even connected to the cross bar with the two female inputs. You can literally pull this apart with a tiny amount of force. The pin and connector came out upon first use.

came apart at female connector. fortunately was not in use. And no, I didn't abuse it. I've used these things since the days of thin ethernet ('80s) and never had one fail before
