works well in win7 system

Pro:
I had to access some old files on an old syquest scsi drive. I installed this card on a asus p6t motherboard (forget which version).

con:
1. had to search high and low for the drivers on the internet, but they are out there.
2. had to search high and low for the correct scsi cable - bought mine at provantage for 25 dollars
3. note - the description says LDV-68 pin SCSI cable.

overall, I am happy with this product because I was able to connect to my old syquest 1.5g, 230, and 130 drives all daisy chained. I cannot attest to the read/write speed because they are sloooow compared to a modern usb3. I am only happy to be able to get my old files.

exactly what I needed

I got this so I could run an lto2 tape drive in my system and back up all my music to it. Then about a year later I upgraded my system to have a raid5 and an external esata 2tb drive so that I can have 2 copies of my music at all times... so my 1.3tb of mp3's is safe now :)

shipped product does not match description

The product arrived with no cables, no drivers, no manual, no warranty. Just the card. Now I have to search for drivers and pay almost 20 dollars for the cables, and I don't even know if it will work yet.
