TV Guard Features: Two protective devices: clear plastic shield with four adhesive backed rubber bump-ons and low skid underlay material. "L" shaped side view. Shield dimensions: 18 5/8" wide x 3 1/2" high x 2 3/8" deep. Place the 2 3/8" side under TV's front. Place the low skid material under back of TV to reduce TV sliding. Suggestion: Install child safety devices when children are not present i.e. asleep for the night. Remember: No protective device replaces adult supervision.

It lasted for about a minute. My 2 year old figured it out right away, pulled it forward and snapped it without any difficulty, leaving sharp edges. Great idea, poor quality.

I can see how this product may work for other kids, but lemme tell you: within 30 seconds of installation, my 13-month old bent the thing forward and proceeded to play with the tv buttons as usual. We kept it there, since it was a slight (a very slight) deterrent - bought us about 2 seconds before button pushing ensued - but with all the bending, he broke it off in 6 months. If you've got a strong, persistant, rambunctious kid (it only worsens with age, folks), I think this product is a big waste of money.

This is a great product to keep little ones from pushing those buttons on tv's or vcr's. after we installed, child would leave tv/vcr alone and watching a movie without the tv/vcr going off was nice. great for tv's/ vcr that are at level where toddler can reach it. The product is flat, so if the front of your TV is curved then your child may be able to reach there little fingers in and still push the buttons, -otherwise GREAT!
