Jump in and take command in a fight that spans six exotic worlds with diverse environments - from steaming, swampy jungles crawling with deadly creatures to rocky wastelands strewn with boiling lava pits to ruined cities half-buried in nuclear snow. Players start by building a base from which they command a force of armored vehicles, infantry, and aircraft through a series of exploratory, offensive and defensive missions. Gamers will drive a variety of tanks and walkers, pilot the scout ships, and even jump out and fight an evil and challenging alien enemy on foot. Each side will choose from an arsenal of powerful weapons including guided missiles, mortars, mines and bazookas. This revolutionary game is the sequel to 1998's Action Game of the Year (Computer Gaming World).

Battlezone was the best gamr I've ever played. The idea of combining first-view and strategy was great, the graphics were amazing the plot and of course, the hypnotic, rough voice of the story teller. The main thing that makes "Battlezone 2" better than the first in the series is the breathetaking graphics. And yet, the plot is not as good, not as half as good, as the plot of the first game. Even though, it is a fun game, with fun missions (It's not really hard at about the 1st 10, not as challenging as the 1st one) and would fit both the "Shoot to kill" lovers and both strategists. And of course, to anybody who likes a good science fiction story.

THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER. This game is much better than battlezone 1 and more fun. If you want a VERY good game then get this game. This game is worth $35 not $10. This game is very fun on single player and multiplayer. Its alot more fun to play if you know the story (battlezone 1 is very important in the story). On single player you play on a side (ISDF) and later on in the missions you can choose to stay on the good guys side or to go to bad guys side. Multiplayer is REALLY fun. you can choose maps to play join games. Battlezone 2 on the internet is a chat room with ALOT of FUN. I play battlezone 2 any time I have the chance which is maybe 3 or 4 hours a day (because i go to school). NOTE: THIS IS THE BEST GAME IN THE UNIVERSE SO GET IT NOW!!! trust me.

Wow! I bought this game for ten bucks(combined with 3 other titles at a computer store just looking to kill some time. The other three were not memorable in the least, but this one blew me away. I have played my fair share of games, but this one is incredible.(I would not be considered a gamer by anyones standards) The graphics are ok, but its what you can do thats the coolest. You can control your own side-most of the ships and men, and eventually you can switch to the bad guys side. Pretend you are trying to destroy an alien colony and an alien is doing patrols in his ship-you can snipe him, get into his vehicle and destroy other alien vehicles...You even get to hear their weird language once you are in the cockpit. Describing it does not do it justice, throw down a few bucks and try it out!
