To prevent possible choking hazard, test strength before each use by pulling the nipple in all directions. Any tear can lead to the separation of pieces. Discontinue use if any tear or crack appears. Do not attempt to enlarge the hole as this may lead to tearing. Prolonged periods of time drinking liquids, other than water, may cause tooth decay.

Directions
Care: prior to first use, sanitize by boiling in water for 5 minutes. For day to day cleaning, wash with hot water and mild detergent then rinse clean. Dishwasher-safe (top rack). For hygiene and safety, replace nipples after about 2 months of use.

My kids are 5 now. Reflecting back on all the products for babies that were placed on prominent shelves and highly advertised on the Internet, much of what we bought was unnecessary. Price signals in the baby product category don't seem that relevant in that expensive items were often not of better quality. The most important thing for parents of newborns is to try to get some babysitting help so they can sleep more and have some down time. End of update.

I had needed fast flow nipples for my twins. These have fit the purpose well. These nipples are also standard size (see below), silicone texture, and traditional round shaped.

* Flow: nipples come in newborn, slow, medium and fast.
* Standard vs. non-standard: It's important to get nipples that fit your bottles. For example, Gerber and Medela have standard bottles. Advent has some standard and some non-standard bottles. Dr. Brown has non-standard bottles that only use Dr. Brown nipples.
* Texture: soft latex, firmer silicone, and traditional rubber.
* Shapes: traditional (round), orthodontic, and flat-topped.

These work with evenflo ...only choice I could find anywhere. I just don't like that I have to screw them on so tight to prevent them leaking from between the nipple and ring. I could not find another brand here to use with evenflo glass bottles and or dr bronners bottles with evenflo nipple rings. They work, just tighten them hard.

Forget all the fancy, expensive nipples - these work great for my baby and don't take up much space when storing or washing. They fit multiple brands of bottles too. I'm currently using them on Evenflo bottles.

i have been using these nipples and bottles for 4 kids now. slow flow worked great with my first 2 kids and started great with my 3rd but changed within the last year or so. it is a wonderful nipple but lately all the slow flow nipples seem to be more of a medium flow. i thought it might just be the nipple that came on my bottles but nope this package did it too. if the bottle fell over or was held on its side any liquid in it would drip out and sometimes it would just flow out.

I bought these because it seems local stores don't sell slow flow nipples anymore. Intended for my 2mo. At first glance they look well built. They have a thicker wall on the nipple part and have these little internal nubs that look like they would prevent nipple collapse. I put them into three different standard neck bottles. Evenflo nursers, nuby, and parent's choice. Slowest flowing was about 1 drop every two seconds, fastest was about 4 drops every second. I figured it wouldn't be a bad thing since I could keep the faster ones for when my son is 6+ mo. I was just about to feed my baby when I noticed it had a pool of expresses breastmilk coming from the side of the nipple at the connection with the ring. I inverted the bottle and didn't notice a leak but somehow I bent the nipple slightly as I was bringing upright and a stream of milk came from the top of the ring where I noticed the milk initially. Tried this with all the nipples and bottle types and the moment the nipple is pressed against, the same area leaks. Perhaps if there was a baby out there that didn't move AT ALL while bottle feeding these might work. Sadly these don't work for my baby.

Im not sure why people spend so much money on bottles. I had twins and was given some very expensive bottles that not only took forever to take apart, clean and put back together my infants didn't really like them. I bought Gerber bottles and had ZER issues. All I had to do was replace the nipples according to their age on the package. Really Simple and effective.

I love these bottles and nipples. My baby started wiggling around a lot and taking forever to finish his bottle. So I tried these faster flow nipples and now he finishes his bottle really quick. He also doesn't start goofing around because he doesn't get bored while he's drinking, he's done with the bottle before he gets bored. I haven't had any trouble with these nipples leaking, except that when you shake up the bottle sometimes the milk leaks out of the nipple, but the cap over the nipple keeps it contained.
