I attached this to a Sony Clie SJ22 and it works fine. Makes the connection with the computer USB port and charges the battery from that port without a separate power box. Better than the Sony cables and much less cost.

Perhaps the other guy got a defective cable. The cable worked right out of the box for me and continues to provide as designed synchronization.

In the Features section of your product description it states that this product is compatible with CLIÉ PEG-NR, T, SL, and SJ series handhelds. I ordered the product because of this one statement. Upon receipt, in the Operating Instructions from the package it says, "This USB HotSync Cable cannot be used with PEG-N or PEG-S series." Now I am out $30 and I still cannot HotSync my PEG-SJ series handheld. Get you information correct!
